Dr. Edelberg's comment:  Here's another mix of well-known adaptogens, those useful substances that actually enhance our ability to deal with stress.  In addition, this formula contains herbs (Bupleureum, Panax, Wild Yam and Licorice) with high concentrations of steroidal saponins that provide the building blocks for our body to produce adrenal hormones as they are needed.  They also act to reduce inflammation.

I generally select Adren-Plus for patients who have a significant fatigue component to their Triple Whammy symptoms.  This is because of the licorice it contains, which can raise blood pressure very slightly.  Interestingly, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) patients are generally hypotensive--that is, their blood pressures are often too low.  Bumping their blood pressure up just a tad can sometimes dramatically enhance their energy levels.
